Are the wines sustainable?
Sustainability is at the heart of our work so we can very proudly say that it is. Our fruit is either foraged or selected exclusively from top-quality growers, and the fruit pulp that remains after the berries are pressed, is broken down into microbially-rich compost, used for food production.
At the winery we make every effort to be as energy-efficient as possible and have committed to source our electricity from the electricity supplier with the lowest greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while minimizing and recycling all cardboard and plastics. We are also proud members of Bord Bia's Origin Green, and Pamela chairpersons Wicklow Naturally, an initiative that celebrates local sustainable producers who ensure that best practice, authenticity, and the highest quality of food and drink products are provided. We are also planning on launching a carbon offsetting programme this coming year. Keep your eyes peeled!
