Visit Wicklow

If you’re planning a trip to Wicklow, you’re in for something special.

We’re based in Newtownmountkennedy — a quiet pocket of the county that’s close to some of Wicklow’s best food, walks, and places to stay. Whether you’re visiting us for a tasting or just passing through, here are a few nearby spots we genuinely love.

Some of our older videos do not currently have captions or audio descriptions. These videos provide valuable content for our visitors, and due to the significant cost of producing them, we have chosen to retain them while working toward accessibility improvements. If you would like an alternative version or summary of any video, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Ireland's Ancient East

We are proudly located within Ireland’s Ancient East, a region rich in history, legend, and heritage. From ancient ruins to coastal charm, it’s part of a landscape shaped by thousands of years of stories waiting to be explored.

K2 Alpacas

Take a walk with the fluffiest locals. You can book a guided alpaca trek through the Wicklow countryside — peaceful, wholesome, and a bit of fun.

Devil’s Glen Walk

A forest trail just a few minutes away. Quiet, scenic, and ends at a tucked-away waterfall if you follow the river route. A perfect post-tasting stroll.

Mount Usher Gardens

One of Wicklow’s most peaceful spots. The gardens are stunning year-round, and there’s an Avoca café and shop next door if you fancy a bite after your walk.

Killmac Cottages & Walking Trails

A hidden gem in Kilmacanogue with lovely walks and occasional pop-ups. Great if you’re looking for something slow-paced and local.

personal, entertaining, and full of humour. It was engaging from start to finish, and I walked away not only having had a lovely time but also learning something new and unexpected. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fresh take on wine and a genuinely memorable experience!

We loved it and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Our tour group was made up of 6 people so wasn't too big! We booked on a Sunday and everything was on time and stress free! Great value for money

Shane was a very pleasant tour guide. We really enjoyed it. Lovely alternative way to spend an hour, learning about the wine-making craft and meeting other people while tasting delicious wines! Thank you!
